Default Button buck breeding a doe!

First time I ever saw deer mating. I had a button buck with nubs barely breaking the skin mount a doe probably 4 or 5 times within 20 yards of my stand. Do you think it was real deal, or is his jimmy to underdeveloped to impregnate, reach it, etc.? It wasn't so great to know that here is a hot doe (unless she wasn't and he was just getting an urge and learning), and NO shooter bucks winding the estrus and coming in. And I used the buck bomb that morning too!

I saw a buck (don't know what size) mount a doe in a field as I was driving by. No kidding, this was in Sept. Maybe they hump like dogs, for dominance or just for fun.

Probably the real deal. You read about teenagers having sex with their teachers a good bit these days.

I may br wr...wr...wrong, but, I was always under the impression that most button bucks (if they were born the previous Spring) are not sexually mature. The same cannot be said for the doe. I also read that50 to 75% of the does in some states/provinces mated with1 1/2 yr old bucks.

I guess while the big bucks were busy chasing/courting mature does, the younger ones always seemed to be in the "right place at the right time"...

sounds possible if the buck to doe ratio is that out of whack.

Did you see that blonde teacher from Florida? They didn't make them that way when I was in school. I wonder if her name was Mrs Robinson?

We have that picture of the deer-threesome in our cabin right by the wall.
