I saw a post last night where someone asked what it was like to hunt in the rain. I hunted in the rain (sometimes really heavy) this afternoon and if paid off. I have never been one to make noise, ratttling, grunting and etc while hunting because I was always scared I would do it wrong. Today I rattledand it brought out 3 bucks within minutes of laying the bag down. First a seven point and then about an hour later I brought out a spike andan eight point together. Ended up shooting the eight. I am having him done in a Eurpoean Mount and I hope it looks good when I get it back. If anyone has any pics of Euro mounts please post in this thread as I have only seena few on TV.

Nice buck, way to go. Funny, I too rattled for the first time this year and also had 3 different bucks come in within 5 minutes of rattling. All little guys and I let em pass. Great fun ain't it?

i hunt in rural hall north carolina and king which is forsyth and stokes county, respectively.....thats nice deer man im glad to see somebody is seeing bucks!! all my hunts are being ruined by other hunters and farmers feeding cows....good luck in the future too man
