It did not affect any actual hunting trips. I didn't ride around and scout as much though during the summer.

I ride my 4 wheeler from my house to my place here in Texas. I spend over $1500 a month on fuel for my household anyway, so my hunting trips to Oklahoma won't make me or break me in the big picture. I had been planning extra trips up for duck and goose hunting and may cancel one of them.

At least it is finally coming down in price. I filled up in Elba, Al last night for $2.119 per gallon. I doubt it will have any effect on my hunting.

It hasn't effected my hunting at all.We still drove 8 hours each wayon our annual elk/moose/deer/hunt and just accepted the fact that the trip was going to cost a little more this year. With all of the daily driving thrown in the extra cost of fuel addedabout $100 each to the cost of our one week hunt.
