Default Good scopes?

The simmons scope on my 30-06 decided the not work anymore so now I scatter all over the paper at 100 yards. Need a replacement scope for next week. I was hoping that old scope would make it until summer when I'm working so I could get a weaver or a leupold for that gun. Not so

Whats a good cheap scope that you guys have had luck with holding up? Wal-mart and Dunhams have a few 3-9x for between $40-$60. do you think these scopes will hold up on a pump 30-06?

Cabela's sells a series called pine ridge. I've got one on my 06 and it's worked pretty well (I had a simmons go bad too). They sell for around 80-90 for a 3-9 I think and should be a decent scope for a while. You bein from connellsville and the great mo-town I just happen to know there's a cabela's close by haha. (I work there while I'm in school)

Hope that helps, I'd take a look at it

I would imagine those scopes would get you through this season. But would probably brake eventually. I would try it, and replace it when you can. I had a cheap BSA scope on a 22 and it worked very well. Good luck

IMHO a cheap scope is just a cheap scope.I would start saving my money up and get at least a Nikon or other good mid priced scope.

I have a bushnell banner scoe (1.75x - 4x X 32mm) that I just listed on ebay, that would suit you just fine. Go to ebay and in the search field put in 7196809611 , and it will bring it up for you. GREAT scope for the money.
