Do any of you Tennesse boys know how the elk reintroduction in the Smokey Mtn Park is going. The last I heard the Park was at ends with the N.C DNR over importing more elk because of CWD. Does anyone know whats going on now and are the elk doing well?

i didn't even know that n.c and tennessee were importing elk. i knew ky was but didn't know about the others.

If you can't beat them, join them... then once you lure them into a false sense of security, jump on their back and beat them to a bloody pulp.
i have ben down a couple times on vacation and the elk seem to be doing fine, even seen a calf this summer, so it looks like they are there to stay.
i haven`t heard anything on the dnr issues
