Default Food Plots protection

Any ideas on how to protect a food Plot until it gets a little mature. Seems I remember seeing something with a ribbon wick fence that you put a scent on that the deer don't like. I have a friend that wants to protect his garden next year and I think it would help him to. Thanks for your help.

my parents have used something like this around some trees. it seems to work well. i know they use Liquid Fence, but that is actually sprayed on the plants.

You are looking for Plot Saver. Try Cabelas or Bass Pro Shops; they carry it.

Lowe's and Home Depot also carry a deer repellent applicable to fences. Can't remember the product name, though.
