Default .416 Rigby Magnum...Too much for Deer?

I shoot a .416 Rigby magnum with a 400 grain TB Solid bullet. Do you think this is too much for deer sized animals? I have taken several Cape Buffalo with this round and was wondering if I should use it for deer next year.

Might work on those big Northern Minnesta bucks we have here. Most bullets just bounce right off them they're so tough

I like using the .416 for long range varmint hunting!

I would use a .416 to get some of the afghans and not the deer.

Here in Michigan, we call that a "Boys" caliber... Yeah it's a bit much.... Think about it...

Personally I prefer the .460 weatherby. Those 150lb deer can be pretty tough sometimes.

I personally won't tote anything less than my .600 Nitro Magnum.
