I would like to NOTE that i just bought a hydration system with backpack. MAN this thing is nice and the new standard for my gearbag. Has enough storage for everything and a nice bungy system on the back for Xtra cloths/sleepingbag if needed.
Kit1:
RubberBoots
Duct tape
10-14" zip ties (work great for hog/attaching tags.)

2 knives
water(duh holds 3gal.)
Protien/energy bars
rope 8ft.

Head light (w/ Xtra batterys)

I hunt mostly black powder so it is abit colder than early archery, but not a cold as gun or late bow season.

2.Small tomohawk (can skin an animal if need be, better for chopping that the biggest
Bowie knife)
