Default Fire Restrictions

Montana is having a bad year when it comes to drought and of course fires. With some bird seasons starting today, and elk and deer archery tomorrow, hunters are urged to check fire restrictions or closures through out the state. I seen in our local paper this week, many ranchers ran an ad of notice that their property was closed to hunting. Montana FWP has list of lands including Block management effected by drought and fires on the website. Sad part is, still no moisture in the 10 day forecast for most of Montana, temps hot over the weekend, brief cool down Labor day, then warm again next week.
