Default Arizona CC's Getting Hit for Elk/Lope

Arizona started hitting CC's yesterday. Buddy and I will be returning first time since 2002. Will be nice considering I settled for a leftover MT last year, most overcrowded hunt I ever experienced. Good luck!

Ya and looks like I struck out on all my ~40 other applications, even with ~20 points. But that's fine just more time I can devote to doing this hunt right. It's unit 1 which we barely squeezed in at with 15 points. There were 15 NR preference tags and 10 went to 16+ point holders, leaving us only a 1 in 3 chance for the 15 point pool. Prolly easiest elk terrain in the country.

Spoke too soon. Got hit back-to-back-to-back for WY lope, Iowa deer, and now another Kaibab archery mule deer tag 2nd year in a row. So four draw tags this year. Been a while since I got this lucky.

Yep; nice to see you're getting all those tags and not on all the sites griping about how you're getting screwed every year like you usually do, LOL!

Topped it off by drawing both shotgun & muzzleloader permits at my two 1st choice Illinois public properties. Yikes what a year. Geared up by upgrading my slug gun to a Savage 220 topped with a Nikon Slughunter scope.

How everyone else has luck in the draws as well.
