Just curious if you have been or want to go to Alberta on a hunt and what you hunted for, were you successful, would you go back, and were you went.

I live in Alberta, hunt and fish regularly, and love it.

I'd love to hunt Alberta. So would my wife. Her whole clan is from BC. Just haven't made the trip yet.

I'd love to do a bear hunt there for color phase black bear. I've taken a couple bears, 1 jet black and 1 chocolate. I'd love to have a blonde or a cinnamon as well.

Drove through the western portion of Alberta this past summer on a trip to Alaska, was gorgeous, and the immensity of it all was mind boggling...lol. I thought my home state of Montana was big, BC, alberta , the Yukon, now thats some BIG country! I also learned taking a weapon, long gun, into Canada, is not really that big of deal as some have said, just a small fee and a little paperwork. Ive been thinking of either a whitetail/bear combo trip next fall or in 2015 or a moose hunt up that way, I think it will be a true adventure.

Check out the Blonde Black Bear I scouted just after season ended.

Lots of blonde bears right here in Colorado. It's harder to find a black bear here.

I live in the mid north east of the province,, in true trophy whitetail country and black bear country. I actually have a couple trouble bears on my land lol.. I own 70 acres up here and am close to an abundance of crown land that I hunt frequently. I also hunt numerous acres of leases land ran by a few of my neighbours.

I am always open to meeting new fellow outdoorsman and sharing experiences. My sons are grown now and between their work and mine it seems to be tough to find people to go with. I am an avid fisherman and hunter for many years now,, since childhood, my father was a moose guide for a number of years and raised us on the outdoors.
