Default The 2010 MOA Long Range Handgun Match and Prairie Dog Shoot

For those who visit the various online forums, you've probably seen us before....we are hoping to find more LR Handgun enthusiasts to join us in June...we've added 2 new events, as well as a pre-match Prairie Dog Shoot for the competitors...it's going to be a great time!

MOA Corporation is a small, semi-custom builder of a unique falling block handgun, the Maximum. The owner, Richard Mertz has held a Long Range competition since 2007, and this year, five of us have formed a volunteer commitee to better publicize the event, as well as to provide a couple of new events (including a Prairie Dog Shoot to precede the match). Many of us frequent the Specialty Pistols forum, as well as others. We hope that those of you interested in Specialty Handguns will consider joining us in Sundance!

(We are NOT selling anything...we are shooters in the above Match....just looking for more folks to come out and join us in Wyoming!)

Thanks for looking!

Mike

This sounds like a lot of fun. I never could shoot a pistol worth a hoot. I need to be inside a barn to hit the broadside of it. I would have better luck throwing rocks at the prairie dogs and saving my ammo. Do you have a rock throwing division.

Default Still time to make plans.......

Wolf killer,

Today's handguns will amaze you! The rigs you'll find in Sundance are easy to shoot accurately....as with a rifle you just need a stable rest. In fact, many of the set-ups and guns are based and built around benchrest standards and practices.

(Most of these guys started with Contenders years ago....they are continuing to push the envelope. In this year's PD Shoot, I anticipate MANY 1k or better kills!)

Hope some of you will consider joining us this year!

You have sparked my intrest, I just might make it over for the shoot. I have been to Sundance many times, I used to live in Newcastle.

Hope you'll do that. I'm sure we'll find a few guns for you to shoot!

The Shoot dates are rapidly approaching...still time to join us!

Even if you decide not to shoot the bench matches...feel free to stop by and meet everyone. Saturday is our "fun" day, and also this year the "Roving Field Course", which is an open sign-up.
