Hunting in the Battlement Mesa
Several experienced elk hunters and myself are looking to put in for a BP draw to hunt in Colorado GMU 42 on the Battlement Mesa. Has anyone hunted this area just south of Collbran? Is this a good area for elk. Some of us have enough points for a Bull tag but others will be hunting cows. Also is this an area you would recommend for at least one of us to have a deer tag? Any help would be appreciated.
