MWO, I mule deer hunted there in 2007 and covered the area pretty well. There were a hell of a lot more elk hunters than deer hunters. Elk ares kittish and not in great quantities. However, where I deer hunted there was not one other hunter. I located elk about every other day in easy gun range. Stalked up on 2 decent bulls (250-280 class) within bow range. Easy stalking with quiet snow. I would consider returning there for a bull if they would go back to point banking like a few years ago. However I have 14 points now so that is the only way I'd return. If you draw your tag shoot me an e-mail: zimny88@gmail.com.

Are you in decent shape? Hiking in the snow will exhaust you otherwise.
