Default Northern California deer question.

Is anyone familar with the Paynes Creek area of Zone C-4. I have B & C zone tags this year. I just came back from Redding where my buddy lives. We hunted just north of Lake Shasta with no success. I've heard some good things about Paynes Creek, but, have never been there.
