Default Colorado Turkey Hunters

Just wanted to see how many Colorado hunters are here.
Lets see where we are all hunting, what your favorite calls are and how far doyou walk in to hunt.

I am hunting southern Colorado w. of I25, my favorite call isan old H.S. glass call and H.S. double d mouth call, gets em every time!
I walk in about 1 mile to get my bird.
Good luck to all!

I hunt SW Colorado. My hunts can be 1/4 mile to 1 mile. That would be 2 miles round trip. Favorite call is the Quaker Boy "Grand Old Master" box call & I also use the Lynch 101-"Fool Proof" one sider box call.

ColoradoBob,

SW hunting..... Do you see many other hunters in the woods when you are out?
I am surprised every year when I don't see many if any other hunters when I am hunting. I usually have the woods to myself.

this will be my 2nd year hunting in this state. I grew up turkey hunting in Nebraska. But I got moved here by the army, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else now
