What is a good hunting area for mule deer in Wyoming for nonresident hunters.

A little more Imformation would help! With or with out a guide, public or private land. Do you want a trophy buck or just a good 4x4.

regions D, K, and W all hold some good deer and public land, I've hunted both W and D and with a little home work you can put yourself in some good deer country. If you don't have P Points it will be a tought draw.

I was born and raised in WY and by FARRRR the best genetics are in region H and G on the western side of the state. If you want numbers but smaller bucks go east, if you want mass and size go west. Any record book will tell you more records are killed in Teton, Lincoln and Sublette Counties then all the others combined. I have seen large Mule deer in alot of regions. One of the best spots I have ever hunted is around Kaycee Wyoming in area 32 and 33. There is a public spot that you have to travel thru alot of private land to get to. There are alot of large deer in that area. That is in region C.
