They`re moving already. We can hunt ducks until the 29th of Nov but a nasty cold front came in last week and chased them all away. Right now it is -20 with a windchill of -30 here in Manitoba. No duck or goose in its right mind would be here under these conditions as everything is frozen. There are a LOT of northerns on the way.....good luck and have a good season, mine is over.

DH247-

Don' t know where you' re hunting at, but in SE WI, we are still wating for them to leave the marshes and fields of midstate. Sounds like we are goijng to have to wait for some weather to drive a fresh batch down.

Glad to hear some reports of the migration. Am sitting here in Southern Illinois with about 30,000 birds eating all the food and season doesn' t open until Nov 20. My boat isn' t even ready to go yet this year. It was almost 70F here today. Hopefully some more birds will ride ahead of the cold front moving in tommorrow.

I' m a bit jealous Duck_Hunter. I haven' t been out since sat.. There are definitely ducks in SE WI, but it seems like the bulk of them are holding up near the HOricon. Our resident ducks all flew the coop during the last cold front, but today I saw signs of more ducks around.
