Default Goose Recliner?

I was looking at blinds in cabelas and I saw the goose recliner blind. It says that it acts as a decoy and a blind. I was just wondering if it would spook the birds because it is so big, 42" long and 22" wide. Would this spook the geese? Thanks.

Geese have very poor size perception. THis is why the magnum and super magnum deeks work so well. It' s all about looking real and being visible at a distance. The recliner has worked very well for one of my partners, and allows him to " blend" into his spread better when he calls.

Agreed they work very well, we have used them a lot with great success. However a few tips are: wear a face net on clear days, watch your movements and keep your gun(action/barrel) covered up. Oh and leave your hat in the truck, becomes a pain in the butt

on a side note IMO the final approach blinds are probably the best in the biz and you can sometimes find them nearing season end very reasonable...just a thought.

I had the same doubt about the chairs, but I found they work very good as long as you have something such as loose corn stalks or camo material to cover you legs.
