Default the sign

The other morning while driving to work, I told my wife about an opportunity I had this October for a duck/pheasant shoot in ND. I have a co-worker who's invited me for several years on his annual family hunt, but something always came up. I had been kinda planning a spring turkey hunt in NE WA.

This year my schedule looks open, and I've scraped a few $$ together for some kind of a hunting trip. Thuy-uyen said "If you can go, it sounds like fun and I know you'd enjoy it. If I can go, for pheasants, even better." One of her goals is to shoot a wild pheasant with a long tail.

About 5 mins later, we passed a park and a pair of ducks flew across the road. That was the sign.

Pheasants in the Dakotas is a good time. We have friends in SD and go up there every couple of years. We usually limit on pheasants and sharptail grouse and get a fair number of Hungarian partridge as well.
