3 Australian Wood duck or Maned geese.

2 females and a drake.

This is a Hardhead, he is a diver and in the same Aytha family as the Canvasback.

Here' s our main Dabbler, the Black Duck, he' s about as big as your Mallard and is in the Anus family.

Very Cool!!! Thanks for sharing your pics. So how is the duck hunting down under? I imagine any type of hunting is great there.

I heard a story about the roos and walabys being so over populated that the government had to eliminate a few 100,000. Do they let you hunt those or do they leave that up to the gov' t?
