Consult your state regulations, and ask questions when you figger out what they are.

Go read the threads named, Waterfowl Newbie, New to waterfowl, tips for new waterfowler, first timer, waterfowl hunting without a dog, and handy state regulation guide. Read all of these threads and you will gain a wealth of knowledge. As you can see you are like the 7th guy to ask for advice with out any kind of specifics and I think these guys are tired of answering blank questions. Once you have read these come back and ask specific questions and these guys will be very informative, but open ended questions are hard to answer. By the way good luck and happy studying.
