Default A few decent hunts

Good hunts have been far and few between this season. Just thought I would share a few of them.

I guess I'm lucky to be hunting in two of the best duck hunting areas in the country, northeast Louisiana and southeast Arkansas. Even lean years aren't terrible, but this year is slow compared to most. We still have a month to hunt, so things may improve.

Oh yeah, there are tons of geese in northeast La. and southeast Ark. We just don't hunt them. We will shoot a few when we're in the fields, but we don't target geese. Most hunters down here don't waste their time hunting Snows. We will take Specks when we get a chance though.
