Default DU Migration Map

Don't take this post the wrong way. I am not saying anything snotty about Ducks Unlimited. I thinkDU and Delta Waterfowl have done great things for our sport.

That being said, I think the migration map on the DU website is kind of ridiculous. You get a bunch of yahoos all over theUS and Canadaposting about how they saw millions of ducks in their neighborhood pond and that ducks intheir area are at "Peak Numbers." Meanwhile, that guy's nextdoor neighbor posts that same day talking about how there is "Low Activity."

I think the idea of a migration map is very useful. However, I think it could be improved if it were run by State DNRs up and down the flyways who truly know how to tell the difference between amigrating flock and a group of tame pond ducks.
