The snow geese are starting to pile up on the Kansas Nebraska border along the Platte River. Reports are that 900,000snows are sitting on the waters. The might be a little high, but if the canada' s and ducks are starting to move into Minnesota it won' t be long.

The snows are showing up in SD. Yesterday while ice fishing there were thousands of them high and going north. A few were dropping in to a hole on the one side of the lake.

I hope those geese in SD make it up here to Manitoba in the next 6 weeks. Our spring snowgoose season starts then. ......20 daily and 80 possession.....still waiting though

Cyrus, last year we did all our snowgoose shooting on a farm near Carmen and we did really well. So far this year my scouts have reported large flocks around the Boissevain area. We don`t know anyone in that area and it is a long drive, so we are just waitng for a call from Carmen. I just don`t have the time right now to go looking for them. Good luck with your goose hunting guy.

Ron

Hope this helps

Cyrus, I got another phone call this morning from my buddies. They say there are now thousands of snows off highway #10 by Turtle Mountain. The geese don`t seem to be getting much closer yet. Patience
