Default RE: Any flooded timber hunters?

Some spots are good enough you can stand on dry land. Other holes are big and you have to wade out and hide next to a cypress. I usually hang an old lock on tree stand to the tree for my dog to sit on.

Nothing like shooting woodies coming by at mach 2

I mostly hunt lake seminole, but I have a honey hole in Jasper Co. and one in Macon off of 75S. They are not spectacular but it it good for a few woodies and maybe a mallard or two. They are both private land.
I will tell you some good hunting is the Dan Denton WMA in Putnam Co is, but you must be drawn for it.
