Default spoonbills in NC

do we have spoonbills in NC i saw some duck with a long bill in my decoy spread before shooting time was it a spoony if not what you think it was

I live and hunt in northeastern NC and while i've never killed a spoonyI have seen a handful. the ever elusive smiling mallard.

I dont know exactly where your at in N.C. but I live just across the hill inEast TN and we saw probaly 10 -15 spoonies and killed three drakes. this is the first year I have seen them here.

The reason ya'll don'tsee them is because their all down here in La. The damn things are everywhere down here.
