Default Yesterday's Hunt - Mount Suggestions

My cousin and I had a decent day yesterday. We got 4 drakes and 2 hens together. I shot a beautiful mature drake andI'mthinking about getting him mounted. I tried to upload the picture, but the thing says the file it too large.I'm trying to decide between getting him in a cruising position to show his back and wings or in a cupped - feet down position. Any suggestions or preferences? I'm leaning toward the cupped mount.I'm thinking that later if I get a nice hen I could get her added and it would look like they are comingin together. You guys have any pictures of mallard mounts you could put on here?

how was he when you shot him? Cupped or flight?
Thats the way I usually do singles, how they were when I shot them.

I shot him when he was about 2 feet off the water. He wasin that final airborne position right before they tough down - head straight out, wing tips up, feet down.I have never mounted anything before, but this year I'm going to get a couple of birds put up. I like your idea of mounting him how he was when he was shot. Seems very natural. Thank you for the suggestion.

I'd like to think that the cupped or "locked up" would look really cool!
