After getting my first canvus back the sat. I plan on getting it taxidermied (stuffed) I started woundering what duckyou guys thought made the best looking mount? Cans ,redheads,greenheads ect.???if you can posts a pic that would be great,,,I'd like to see which mount looks best flying or standing Thanks

Out of mine, (Greenhead, Bull Pintail, Widgeon, Wood Duck, Bluewing Teal) I like the Widgeon Drake. The elusive trophy I'm looking for is a Redhead Drake.

I have 14 ducks mounted and most are flying.IMO, the puddle ducks look better flying and the divers standing. The divers have shorter wings and look better standing. The ducks I have mounted standing are a Can, Readhead, Hooded Merganser, Ruddy Duck, and Bufflehead. Theones flying are a Mallard, Woody, Widgeon, all three Teal species, Black Duck and twoPintail. All are drakes.Just my opinion, butthe Can usually looks better standing, but I have seen some good flying mounts. It's up to you. I'm sure it will look good either way.
