Default Duck boat recomendation

I am looking to get a new duck boat. I don't have any clue as to what to get. I need some advice.

i work at a marine where we sell and service duck boats so i might be able to help you a little. first some questions-
what kind of water are you going to be hunting (big, small, rivers...)
how many people/dogs are going along?
are you going to be putting a blind on the boat?
how much are you willing to pay for this duck killing machine?

i will be in a medium size lake and maybe in a medium size river from time to time. There will be 2 people in the boat. Maybe 3 once in a while. I won't be putting a blind in it. I would like to pay around $400 for it.

well ill be honest with you for 400 bucks it will be hard to find much more than a 14 foot john boat and a trailer, but i spose if you look around you might be able to find a boat/motor with about a 6.5ish horse older motor which will get you were you want to go in decent time with two guys. id recomend a flat bottom aluminum boat cause there is more room and you can draft in less water for river hunting.

I just want a paddle boat and small trailer. Then I could get something more for my $400.

Until I saw your price you were looking for, I was gonna say these are awesome boats for hunting the shallows and being out in the open water.
