Default Mojo?

I was wondering...well i heard themojo goose flare birds numerous times and was thinking, If we put a mojo mallard on the corner or somewhere near the goose spread in the feild, will it flare the geese? And if it does, where should i put it in the feild? Thanks

Default RE: Mojo?

We have had a lot of issues with Mojo's flaring geese in a field as well...What we do is put the mojo's by our blinds and the duck decoys behind us and then all you have to do is reach behind your head and turn them off when geese are coming. We have a couple with remotes that we put just on the outside of the spread off to the side with a few duck decoys and simply turn them off when the geese come. Just as long as the geese don't see the wings rotatng they typically don't have a problem. If you have your mojo's away from the main landing area for the geese then they don't mind as well...

Default RE: Mojo?

Any time I had a mojo type decoy working it flared geese. That being said, we would put the mojo out early and shoot ducks. After about 9:00 we would either pull it or turn it off. We only hunted fields when this happened. I would guess the same would go over water.
