Not "Horrible", I have killed many a duck over a $25 call. Some sound good. Try before you buy!

That whistle and mallard grunt maybe small, but its so deadly on ducks it ought to be illegal.

I like the Duck Commander version a bit better, as you can get a little bit louder on it for windy days. A bit more money, but worth it. Its super easy to use, and you can make tons of different duck noises on it.

I bought one this year,, can get 4 different duck sounds out of it. Ive used all of them this year. Even pulled a nice flock of pintails in with it,, dont get many of those around here. And I pulled them down in a public area where everyone else was hammering at them with mallard calls. Easy too use and versatile,, id buy another!

Believe it or not, my favorite call is a $9.99or so Haydels from Wal-Mart. I have since upgraded to more expensive acrylics, but keep the Haydels on my lanyard. They also make a good wood duck call.

Right there with you bald9. Easy to use double reed, and also pretty versatile.. you'll be pulling in ducks in no time.
