Default Need snow goose hunting info.

I'm trying to find info on a good place to hunt snow geese, for myself and brother. From what I can find out, it seems Missouri and Nebraska are good states. We live in Georgia and Missouri seems to be a closer drive. But we are not restricting ourselves to Missouri.

Can any of you recommend a state and an Outfitter that is good and trustworthy.

Thanks,
dog1

Stationed in MD now, is there any public hunting area that attracts many snow geese - especially on the Western Shore? What type and number of decoys should one use? I remember reading that folks even used staked plastic bags in some old shooters bibles or other gun mags.
Thanks.

Default Snow geese

Absolutely!!
I know an excellent outfitter in southeast Missouri. I grew up in this area and can certainly give you plenty of info.
IYF Outfitters has excellent duck hunting and spring snow goose hunting in southeast Missouri and northeast Arkansas.

If you can wait a few weeks, the snow geese season really starts heating up in MD, DE, NJ, & PA. It's a lot cheaper and closer than making the ride out to the MidWest.
