Default Steel Buckshot Removal

Being a rookie goose hunter I must ask; Ok now that I have properly cleaned the goose, how do I remove the steel buckshot before cooking?
Thank you?

I soak and rinse the breast fillets well looking for any wound channels, if they arent straight through and wide open, i take my knife and slice from the wound channel out to the nearest perimeter of the meat, for pellet removal and for cleaning.

Are there a lot? Fillet the meat off the bones and follow Carp's advice. Sometimes the pellets come out when I gently tug on the feathers that were pulled into the meat by the pellet.

Do you guys think the Dept. of Homeland Security would get P.O.'ed if I asked to run my shot-up geese through one of their x-ray machines at the airport in order to find any stray steel buckshot I might have missed?

I would bet that request would get me on the six o'clock news and an extended stay in the nearest looney bin!
