Default I hate Snap-Lock Keels.

I just got a half dozen wood duck decoys. The snap locks keels don't go on that easy. The hens weren't to bad but the drakes were horrible. It makes not want to buy Greenhead gear dekes anymore if this is the trouble I have to go through to get the keels on. It feels like I am going to break something trying toget them on. Is that normal or did I just get some bads ones or something?

Default RE: I hate Snap-Lock Keels.

I've heard of a few people not being satisfied with the quality of the snap lock keels. I know with the full body mallards from greenhead gear, things seem to go together hard, like you might break something. It seems to soften up after a little while though and goes on and off easier.
