Tucumcari WMA, Bitter Lakes, Hudson Lake, and a little farm pond near Floyd. I'm stationed at Cannon AFB, and I'm always on the lookout for somewhere new that won't require a long drive.

It can be great, you are almost always guaranteed to get your pintail, and if you like spoonines, you will get plenty. There are a lot of geese, mallard, crane, and divers also

No, it's too far for the kind of day hunts I usually take. I already have to drive an hour+ to hunt in Roswell or Tucumcarri. I would like to try some new places, but don't want to drive fro hours.

I just checked the NM game and fish site, and they have already posted the new regs. http://www.wildlife.state.nm.us/publ...007/sgwrib.pdf
