just saw a season thta goes partially through feb. how much does it cost to get a stamp/tag for it? i know their is a marsh close by and have seen geese flying. i might like to give it a try. i just wanna know how much it costs ot get a tag for it. and how much do cheapy calls start at?

You will need both a state and federal migratory bird stamp. The federal is $15. You will have to check with your state wildlife agency to find out the cost of the state stamp where you are. As well, you will have to check local regulations to find out if you need another permit aside from the stamps.

Cheap calls start out around $10 to $20. I have a Nasty Boy from Southern Game Calls that set me back $35. I really like this call. It blows wet and has not frozen up on me yet. This is a sport that is NOT cheap. Be careful before you get hooked on it. It has cost me a small fortune in the past 5 years since I got started. Good luck!
