Default Decoy paint beat up after little use

How do you keep the paint from being beat up, I have a 12 well 11 now that I have used two or three times and they don't look good to me anymore. Anybody paint them, I haven't tried and I was never good at staying in the lines.

Is there a decoy that the paint holds up better on, stuffed in those bags they get beat up?

What brand of decoys did you buy? They should last more than a couple days use. You can get a paint kit for them through Cabelas and some other suppliers. You get the paint and also instructions on how to paint them. It is not too hard to do. If that is not anoption then you may to return them to where you bought them. I rather enjoy repainting a few each year but I have probably 30 dozen so usually have a few to do each year after the season is over. Good luck!

I used to buy "cheap decoys" and after the season they would be usless. I learned me lessons and when it comes to waterfwol dekes, it worth paying they money.
