When we were out hunting...all the Red Breasted Mergansers were stearing clear of our Broadbill rig. It was the slow point of the day and my buddy asked me what I called those things. I have a book full of those names (half innapropiate) Ive found the most common name for Red Breasted Mergansers are....$hiters But my buddie mentioned a funny name...Necktus Erectus. I was just wondering if you guys had some names for ducks
LOL! By the way...we destroyed the mergansers that day because they were flareing off to the end of the tail and for years, me and my dad threatened to put the layout boat at the end of the tail and we finally did it. Anything that hit the back of the tail...SHAME ON THEM!
