I've just recently started duck hunting. I'm wondering if anyone has ever hunted Sooner Lake? Is it usually good/bad? I know there are limited number of blinds. Is it worth walking so far to the hard to get to blinds? Thanks for the help.
Sooner is in between Stillwater and Ponca City on 177. No, I haven't tried Fort Cobb because I hear there are lots of hunters. What is your opinion about the hunting pressure?
stay away on weekends...MLK day might be a good day to try it out, on your way back to school. That is if you come to lawton.
When's the next time you'llbe in Lawton? If you want to go with me one morning I'll be happy to take you out. I usually hunt by myself unless my brother in law is wanting to go with me.
