There isNO snow almost too Timmins Ontario,, thats north east of the top of lake huron.

Southern Ontario farmland has had temps in the mid 50's for highs and above freezing for low's. There isNO snow, very little water is frozen up if any. They have food, places too roost at night on open water, no one is shooting at them,, why leave?

yea this weather stinks... my scouting reports today are...there are a few hundred geese in a 10 mile radius of whereI hunt... last year at this time there were thousands! but there is more now than a week ago or so... so there is a little hope. this is actually making duck hunting a little better this year.. at least I am having better luck with them than usual.. but i'd rather shoot a goose b4 a duck. one weird thing i have seen so far is this year is a flock of 5 snow geese staying at this one pond near where I hunt in southeastern PA. usually they fly by the hundreds or thousands. i found this a little unusual. keep the reports coming...

Went out twice last week and rarely saw any birds and the ones we did see had a set destination and were not responding at all to calls.

I know it was almost 70degrees 3 days ago...its January!!
