'might be a stupid question, but i was wondering if using say, pintail decoys in my mallard spread, after the real pintails are all gone is good or bad

I always try to stay with what looks the most natural for what situation you're going to be hunting... If there's no pintails around at that time then I'd not put any out. That's just me though.
THE PINTAIL DECOYS SHOULDNT MAKE ANY PROBLEMS ,I LIKE TO HAVE A FEW ALL SEASON THE OTHER BIRDS CAN SPOT THE WHITE ON THEM FASTER,PINTAILS ,BLUEBILLS, CANVASBACKS ANY THING LIGHTER COLORED,THE PINTAILS ARE KNOWN TO BE VERY WARY ANY WAY THEY HELP LIKE CONFIDENCE DECOYS,MY 2 CENTS ,,,THANKS
