western Maryland

Hey all,

I am new to the forum and new to the area that I live, western Maryland. I have always wanted to try waterfowl hunting (really interested in geese) and have heard that Maryland has some great hunting. I was wondering if there is anyone from Maryland that might be able to give me some information/advice? Thanks

I hunt Eastern MD. I know if you know someone with a farm from Baltimore to Garrett County, resident geese hunting is hot. Finding afarm is tough. I get invited every once in a while.

Eastern Shore is good for ducks. I go to Fishin bay in Dorchester county.

I'm in Southern maryland and got some places, wellone place nobody hunts and I'm tryingsome new one's that are public by permit (no money). Your welcome to come with me, also I have some places on the eastern shore for geese but don't hunt till after deer firearms season, I usually bust the Snows more than Canada's. If I had some floater canada's I could get some resident geese right now but I got some higher priorities. Do you have waders, and decoys? Fishing bay is great but boat is really needed, just picked up a 10 ft jon but not the ideal boat for Fishing Bay or the Nanacoke river.

Whats up buddy? I live on the eastern shore and this place is a honey hole for geese. In late December and early janurary they fly all the time. Get back at me and I can hook you up with some people, I got a farm and some ponds where we smack em hard
