What do you do with old beat up decoys.

So what do you do with them when they have been beat up, faded, and don't look like the ducks there suposed to? Repaint, I can't stay between lines much less paint a duck.

I repaint them .
If puddle ducks , I paint them as black ducks , they show up better .

I know guys that paint their decoys flat black ( the whole decoy ) and claim they out produce regular decoys

if you cant stay in the lines get some thin masking tape and follow the out lines then paint and remove the tape when dry

turn them in to diver dekes paint them solid black first then add your white, in needs not be that pretty
