mistakes ya' won't do this year

i ain't real brite,and i tend to alow history to repete it'self.
just wonderin' what are some of the lessons leared from all of us.
the first thing i learned was skybustin' gits no ducks!
next one was, watch yer' step! (waders fill up faster than ya' think)
after that,..............well, fill in some of the blanks yer'selves,
we'd all like to hear (and learn from) yer' short commings

#1 lesson I learned... if you have a real good spot for ducks on public land,,,,, never and I mean never show it too anybody!!! I got porked real bad by a guy I showed a spot too,, he invited everyone and theyre brother too hunt there. He literally had 10-12 different people there throughout last years season,, now I see one of those guys is trading hunts for that area!

...........and make sure you have emptied you bladder/bowels before slogging through 500yds of knee high loon crapwearing your chest waders to find no dry land around for that same distance.[:'(](Long story)

dont ever think you can get by with knee boots instead of chest waders. play it safe! a wet hunt can be miserable.
