Got out this morning, finally!! Was hunting public land that had cut wheat on it. Didn't get out early enough as someone else was setting up in the spot I scouted. Oh well, switched to another field across the road. Got set up, and the fog rolled on in... I could hear multiple flocks around, but not a lot of commitment. The fellas across the road had a barrage once, and that was it. The fog didn't burn off until 9:00 or so. When it did I think the geese were pretty well settled. We did have two commit shortly after we could see, and both my buddy and I each took one shot/one goose. All in all, pretty enjoyable, can't wait to get back out tomorrow. How'd everyone else do?

RE: Early goose opener...
Hunted this evening at the marsh .
Had to work till 5 pm At the marsh by 5:30
Had 1 goose swim into the decoys .
Tryed yelling , but with the wind it didn't fly .
So I told Simmon to fetch , after it got away from him I splashed it , so he could fetch it .
But did have 4 or 5 flocks of teal come in , 2 flocks landed in range
Hope I see them Sat
