Default hunting with one decoy

I have one decoy and it's a female teal i was wanting to know if you could use it by it's self to hunt ducks and geese i have a small ditch behind my house would the one decoy get some birds to come in.

You might get some to come in if they have been using the ditch but you would probably be better off and have better luck if you had at least a half dozen decoys out. You still have to be where the ducks want to be.

if ducks arelanding prior to season into the ditch and you call to them and you might have luck but if you have 25 bucks around go to cabelas and get a dzn hot buys there good deeks 4 the $

allseason is probably right, although...

if you have mallards comming in just use the "lonesome hen" call.
you don't even need the one. i've done it lots. the do come but you do have to have birds in ear shot.

i don't think you'll have much luck with a single teal decoy. save up some money and buy a dozen for about 25 bucks. don't spend money on fancy anchors. you can use weedeater line from your parents for the cord.

For a while all I used for anchors was bolts that I went and bought from a hardware store for about 10 cents each. They worked just fine
