Default question about banded bird

for Christmas i got the duckmen volume 9 dvd. And on one hunt phil robertson(gotta love that guy) killed a double banded mallard drake, and both bands were regular silver bands, not a regular and a reward band. was that bird caught once and banded and then caught and banded again or did they band him just once, with two bands?

Default RE: question about banded bird

They reband a lot of birds that way catch him one year and then another year, I read in DU a few months ago that a black duck was caught 9 times in 7 years by banders or some number like that but i doubt they put that many bands on him.....hmmm.....that would be neat!!!
