Is it safe to shoot stell loads out of a 15 year oldMaverick with a full choke? A buddy of mine was wondering and I didn't know what to tell him.

Ive got one not that old but hunted with it for years with steel shot man. Best and cheapest gun i ever owned hate to say it lol . Needless to say i got alot of money in my guns but that thing for the money is great.
