We went out yesterday for the 1st hunt of the season.We ended up shooting 6 Mallards and 1 woody. I shot 3 of the Mallards. We hunted a public spot that was lots of flooded timber. The woodies were thick by what appeared to be thousands. I have never seen so may wood ducks in one place. On our way out we stopped in in awe at the sit of all the wood ducks.
Where at in SW MO? I'm in Springfield, am new up here, and don't know of any places to hunt.
